The ‘Coronavirus Monitoring Team’ in Benghazi announced on Tuesday that a new batch of repatriated citizens had been discharged from hospitals throughout the city after completing their 14-day mandatory quarantine.

The Monitoring Team said that a total number of 386 nationals have been discharged from six quarantine hospitals in Benghazi, adding that they had successfully completed their medical examinations and tested negative for COVID-19.

Flights carrying Libyans stranded in Tunisia have landed in Al-Abraq International Airport over the past two days. They were received by members of the Monitoring Team and the Advisory Medical Committee.

The Committee confirmed that all returnees would undergo medical tests for the virus and be placed in a 14-day quarantine.

Three new cases of Coronavirus were reported in Libya on Tuesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 68.
