The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported on Monday that 1900 militants affiliated to pro-Turkish factions have been training in Turkish camps in order to transport them to fight in Libya.

According to the observatory, a total of 4750 Syrian militants have reached Tripoli with 117 of which confirmed to have died in battle.

Ankara continues to escalate its involvement in the Libyan conflict by supporting the Government of National Accord (GNA), despite Turkey participating and agreeing to the results of the Berlin conference held last January where foreign states active in Libya agreed to uphold the UN arms embargo.
