Ageela Saleh Discusses Latest COVID-19 Developments In Libya

On Wednesday, the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) Ageela Saleh discussed the latest developments surrounding the spread of COVID-19 in Libya. This came during a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for Government Affairs Abdul-Rahman Al-Ahiresh and Education Minister Fawzi Boumriz.

The meeting also touched on the situation of educational establishments in the country and the postponement of studies until June 14. Saleh stressed the need to coordinate efforts with the ‘Supreme Committee to Combat Coronavirus’, when deciding whether to re-open or keep schools closed.

The officials also discussed construction and maintenance projects of many educational institutions throughout the country, especially projects that have yet to be completed.
