On Sunday, the Tunisian General Labour Union described the foreign intervention in Libya as a “hateful occupation”, calling on the Tunisian Presidency to facilitate a Libyan dialogue, and not become a military base for any party.

Earlier, Tunisian President Qais Saeed announced that the solution in Libya should come from the Libyan parties, saying: “I reject any interference in this country from any party.”

In a television interview, President Saeed confirmed his categorical rejection of foreign interference in Libya, in reference to Turkey without mentioning it, critising the position of the Libyan government of National Accord (GNA).

During his current visit to the French capital, Saeed emphasized that the legitimacy of the GNA is temporary and cannot be permanent.
