The Libyan Red Crescent in Benghazi continues its humanitarian efforts to distribute aid to Sudanese migrants, in collaboration with UNICEF.

The aid efforts included distributing hygiene kits to over 600 families, aiming to improve sanitary conditions and alleviate the suffering of those affected.

The Red Crescent highlighted that this initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to support the most vulnerable groups and ensure the provision of essential needs amid the current circumstances.

The association’s evaluation and information department registered the families benefiting from the aid, while the health department conducted medical checks to ensure the wellbeing of individuals and address their healthcare needs.

Additionally, the Red Crescent’s Explosive Remnants of War department provided awareness sessions to families on the dangers of landmines and war remnants, aiming to reduce injuries and enhance awareness of how to avoid risks.

This activity is part of the joint efforts between the Libyan Red Crescent and UNICEF to ease the burdens on displaced persons and ensure they receive the necessary humanitarian support amid the difficult conditions they face.
