GNA Interior Minister Thanks Qatar For Supporting GNA

On Monday, Interior Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Fathi Bashagha held a meeting with Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah at the headquarters of the Turkish Ministry of Defense, in Ankara.

The meeting was held in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Libyan Ministry of Defense, Salah Al-Namroush.

During the talks, they discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest. This is in addition to enhancing bilateral relations between the Libyan and Qatari people.

The Qatari Minister appreciated the victories achieved by the GNA’s forces during their battles against the Libyan National Army (LNA).

He noted that they will always provide the GNA with the necessary support until it gains full control over Libya.
