GAC International celebrated the grand opening of its first branded showroom in Libya, located in central Tripoli.
The event also showcased three flagship models: the EMZOOM, EMKOO, and the second-generation All-New GS8. These models embody GAC’s commitment to “Top-tier Quality” and “Pioneering Technology.”
The showroom, a state-of-the-art facility, is designed to provide Libyan consumers with a premium experience, including vehicle displays, test drives, and after-sales support. The event attracted over 100 guests, including distributors, community leaders, and automotive enthusiasts.
The launch of the three star models highlighted GAC’s focus on innovation and versatility. Known globally for their advanced technology, comfort, and performance, these vehicles aim to meet the diverse needs of Libyan drivers.
Former Libyan football star Tarek Al-Taib praised the GS8 after a test drive, describing it as an ideal choice for families and businesses.
Karim Boushofa, General Manager of Alfa Motors, GAC’s local partner, emphasised the importance of the showroom’s opening: “This reflects GAC’s dedication to quality and service, introducing Libyan consumers to the forefront of Chinese automotive innovation.”
Hussam Salah, General Manager of Alfa Holding Group, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating that GAC would deliver not just high-quality vehicles but also exceptional after-sales services.
The opening also marks a milestone in Sino-Libyan relations, which have strengthened over 46 years of diplomatic ties. GAC plans to expand its presence in Libya, bringing innovative mobility solutions while enhancing consumer trust.
