Egypt’s Organi Group has announced $2 billion in investments for Libya’s reconstruction efforts, according to CEO Essam Al-Organy.

In an interview with Alborsa, Al-Organy revealed that 88 Egyptian construction companies are currently involved in Libya’s rebuilding projects. The group plans to increase this number to 150 in the coming months, highlighting Egypt’s growing role in post-conflict reconstruction.

Al-Organy also expressed interest in participating in Gaza’s reconstruction, stating that the first phase alone is expected to exceed $50 billion. However, this will depend on official approvals allowing Egyptian firms to enter the market.

As part of its expansion strategy, Organi Group has signed an agreement with China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC). This partnership aims to enhance strategic collaboration, introduce global expertise to Egypt’s market, and expand construction projects regionally and internationally.

The CSCEC agreement is expected to generate $5 billion in contracts across multiple countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Libya.
