UAE’s Gargash: Turkey Should Stop Interfering in Arab Affairs

This Saturday, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash, said on his Twitter account that “it is more appropriate for Turkey to stop interfering in Arab affairs.”

Gargash explained that the provocative statements issued by Turkey’s Defence Minister Hulusi Akar were considered a new fall in Turkish diplomacy, stressing that international relations are not managed by threats or intrusions.

Akar has slammed two days ago the UAE for “malicious acts” in Libya and Syria, warning it will hold the Emirates accountable “at the right place and time.”

Turkish officials have also accused Abu Dhabi of offering financial and logistical support to the PKK terror group to carry out attacks in Turkey.
