Libya Strengthens Energy Sector Ties with US Giant Halliburton

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) of Libya held an extensive meeting with a delegation from the US-based Halliburton Company at its headquarters. The delegation was led by Ahmed Helmy, Vice President for North Africa, and Mohamed El-Telisi, the company’s General Manager in Libya. The meeting was chaired by NOC Chairman Eng. Masoud Suleiman, with the participation of Board Member Ahmed Ammar and several technical department directors.

The session included a technical workshop titled “NOC – Halliburton Technology Workshop”, during which Halliburton presented its key services and solutions in drilling, well maintenance, production enhancement, and stimulation technologies. The company also showcased its latest digital applications for managing oilfield operations.

NOC Chairman Eng. Suleiman praised the importance of partnering with leading international companies such as Halliburton to exchange expertise and strengthen national capacities. He emphasised that such collaboration contributes to the development of the oil sector and enhances technical and operational performance.

Halliburton representatives reaffirmed the company’s readiness to support NOC programmes in training, capacity building, and knowledge transfer.
