Sebha Medical Centre declares State of Emergency over COVID-19

On Thursday, Sebha Medical Center declared a state of emergency across its departments as a precautionary measure to counter COVID-19. The statement came from Mohammad Qurain, the Director of the Information Office at Sebha Medical Center.

According to the statement, the Center’s administration has set up an action plan for employees that includes reducing visiting hours for patients and allocating one companion to each patient.

The statement added that, until a larger isolation facility is prepared over the next few days, confirmed COVID-19 patients will be placed in the health isolation unit that was prepared by the National Center for Disease Control in Sebha.
