On Sunday, the Speaker of the Libyan Parliament, Ageela Saleh, met with a number of young men from the cities of Tobruk, Derna, Shahat, Al Bayda, Al-Marj, Benghazi, and Ajdabiya in his office, located in the city of Al-Qubbah.

This meeting came as part of a series of meetings that Saleh conducts with all segments of society about his initiative to end the Libyan crisis.

The spokesman for the Libyan Parliament, Abdullah Blaiheq, confirmed that Saleh discussed during the meeting the role of Libya’s youth in building the nation. He added that Saleh pointed out the talent, knowledge and energies that young people possess, and which must be exploited in state institutions to lead Libya toward progress.

“The meeting also dealt with the initiative of the Speaker of Parliament to end the Libyan crisis and achieve peace,” Blaiheq said. “The attendees listened to a full explanation of the initiative,” he added.

The young people confirmed their support for the efforts of the Speaker of Parliament and his initiative to end the crisis in Libya,” Blaiheq stated.
