“The Libyan officers took the initiative to hold their meeting inside Libya in a spirit of national responsibility in order to discuss the details of implementing the terms of the permanent ceasefire agreement,” Williams added.

The city of Ghadames, located in southwestern Libya, is currently hosting the fifth round of talks for the 5+5 Joint Military Committee for the first time in Libya until 4th November. The talks started on 2nd November, under the auspices of the United Nations.
