The administration of Mitiga International Airport announced in a statement that flights between Tripoli, and the Tunisian city of Sfax will be resumed on 15 December.

The statement added that Libyan Airlines will operate two weekly flights on Saturdays and Tuesdays to Sfax Airport. It stated that reservations are now available at the company’s sales offices, and travel agencies.

The Libyan African Aviation Holding Company (LAAHC) announced in August, that it would gradually resume flights between Libya and Tunisia by October. It pointed out that that all passengers travelling from Libya must have passed a COVID-19 PCR test, no more than 20 hours before flying.

In March, Tunisia and Libya suspended all flights to limit the spread of COVID-19.
