Turkey continues to establish a military air bridge with the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) in Libya, and operates flights to transport mercenaries and weapons to support them, according to Jamal Shalouf, Head of the Silphium Foundation for Studies and Research in Libya.

Shalouf said in a statement that the Turkish Airbus A400M military cargo plane (code 221), was detected on Wednesday evening when landing at Misrata Airport. He claimed that this is believed to be the 33rd violation since the 5+5 Joint Military Committee (JMC) signed the October ceasefire agreement in Geneva.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced in mid-November, that the total number of mercenaries sent by Turkey to Libya amounted to 18,000, including 350 minors.
