Bus Transportation Between East-West Libya Resumes

On Friday, the General Express Transport Company in Tripoli announced the resumption of road transport from its main bus station in the Al-Dahra area of Tripoli to Benghazi, Ajdabiya, Tobruk, and Cairo.

The state-owned transportation company began its Tripoli-Benghazi route at 5:00 pm on Friday. The other routes are Tripoli-Tobruk and Tripoli-Cairo, which all transit via the city of Hun. The company will also operate routes from Benghazi-Sebha, Sebha-Cairo, and Benghazi-Alexandria.

The bus company has set the prices of tickets as follows: Tripoli-Cairo at 315 Libyan dinars, Tripoli-Tobruk at 70 Libyan dinars, and Tripoli-Benghazi at 50 Libyan dinars.
