Tunisia Calls for Political Solution in Libya

On Wednesday, the Tunisian Foreign Ministry called for the adoption of a comprehensive political solution in Libya that is based on national dialogue.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said that the need for a lasting political solution has become imperative as a means to end the current conflict.

The statement stressed the importance of having Libyans lead the decision making process and that rejecting foreign influence was paramount to the success of a political solution to the Libyan crisis.
