Libyan Airlines spokesperson Mohamed Quniwa said that a repatriation flight would be sent to pick up Libyan nationals in Saudi Arabia next Friday.

Quniwa added that the company would also operate a flight to Tunisia tomorrow.

Two weeks ago, Libyan Airlines announced the launch of two flights, one to the Czech Republic and the other to the Ukrainian capital Kiev, as well as operating two flights to Berlin, in order to return Libyans stranded abroad due to the global pandemic.

The returnees were received by members of the Medical Advisory Committee.

All nationals are required to undergo medical tests upon arrival to test for COVID-19 and ascribe to a 14 day mandatory quarantine period.
