In a recent visit to Benghazi, Turkish Ambassador, Kanaan Yilmaz and his accompanying delegation met with Mayor, Saqr Bujawari.

They discussed the Benghazi Expo for Turkish industries and the participation of Turkish companies in the exhibition. Both parties explored ways to enhance business visits and reopen the Turkish Consulate. As well as the return of Turkish companies to operate in the city of Benghazi. They also emphasized the need for coordination regarding training and development initiatives for local personnel.

Furthermore, the two discussed the visit of Turkish experts and specialists in the restoration of historical buildings. They also explored the potential utilization of Turkish expertise in infrastructure, reconstruction, and solid and liquid waste recycling.
