On Wednesday, a delegation from the Libyan National Army (LNA) took part in the “Army 2024” forum in Moscow, underscoring the growing military collaboration between Libya and Russia. The forum, known for its expansive showcase of advanced military technology and weaponry, offered the LNA a firsthand look at the latest innovations in combat training and equipment.
Lieutenant General Khaled Haftar, Chief of Staff of the LNA’s Security Units, spoke to Russia’s TASS news agency about the significant advancements he observed during the event. “I visited the weapons and military equipment exhibition and saw the confident progress of this forum,” Haftar stated. “The new technologies and the improved techniques for training personnel in technical and shooting skills were particularly noteworthy.”
