Sirte Oil & Gas Production and Manufacturing Company has successfully completed a major infrastructure project to replace the high-voltage power line connecting the Zelten and Al-Jabal oil fields.

The newly replaced power line spans approximately 40 kilometers, with the project taking about 18 months to finish.

This key project comes as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to improve operational infrastructure and ensure continuous production across its fields.

The main objective of the project was to secure a reliable power supply for submersible pumps servicing over 20 oil wells located along the line between the two fields. The project involved the replacement of aging and damaged electric poles, cables, and insulators, which had posed a risk to the stability of oil production.

The project was completed under the supervision of the Project Management Department, in coordination with the Facilities and Shipping Department, which owns the project. Only high-quality, certified materials meeting the company’s strict technical standards were used throughout the process.

This vital project reflects Sirte Oil & Gas Company’s commitment to boosting production capacity and maintaining the stability of its wells by modernizing its energy infrastructure and enhancing the reliability of power supply at production sites.
