Libya Prepares for Football Cup Preliminaries

The second preliminary round of the Libyan Football Cup is set to commence this coming Tuesday, March 18th, coinciding with the 18th day of Ramadan. The matches offer an exciting lineup of teams at various venues across the country.

On Tuesday, El-Brance will face Abatnan at Al Marj Stadium at 11:00 PM. Concurrently, Khalij Sirt will challenge the Military Union at Ajdabiya Stadium, and Dahrat will compete against Zahra Ben Walid at Al Khums Stadium, also at 11:00 PM. Meanwhile, Drebi will take on Shomou at Tarhuna Stadium.

The action continues on Wednesday with Mahdia playing against Andalus at Al Marj Stadium at the same time of 11:00 PM. Also, Al Ansar will go up against Al Manar at Derna Stadium, while Wifaq Ajdabiya will meet the Stars of Ajdabiya at Martyrs of Benina Stadium. In addition, Tersana will face Alsalam at Tarhuna Stadium, and Tarhuna will compete against Al Qadsia at Al Khums Stadium, all scheduled for 11:00 PM.

On Thursday, Abi Ashuhur will face Union Gharyan at Zawiya Stadium, and Majd will compete against Ahli Misrata at Tarhuna Stadium, both at 11:00 PM. In another match, Shabab Al Ghary will play against Al Wahda at the Industrial River Stadium.

The week’s football action will conclude on Friday with a sole match between Nahda and Al Sharara at 11:00 PM at the Tersana Club Stadium.
