Three children were injured in an explosion caused by remnants of war inside a citizen’s farm in the Khalla Al-Farjan area, near the Bin Aoun triangle in Tripoli.

According to authorities, the incident occurred when one of the children struck a 23mm projectile on top of a tractor trailer, triggering the blast and injuring all three minors.

Major General Mahmoud Ashour Al-Ajeeli, head of the Criminal Investigation Department, immediately ordered the Technical Affairs Directorate to dispatch a specialized team from the Security Inspection and Explosives Disposal Office.

Upon arrival, the team conducted a full sweep of the area and recovered shrapnel from the explosion.

The Criminal Investigation Department urged citizens to report any suspicious or unidentified objects without approaching them, stressing the importance of public cooperation to ensure the safety of families and children.
