The Libyan Prime Minister of the eastern-based Interim Government, Abdullah Al-Thinni, reassured Libyans that there is enough food and overall commodities to see the country through the coming months.

On Sunday, during a visit to the Price Balancing Fund with Minister of Economy Mounir Asr, the Prime Minister assured citizens there was no need to panic or worry about food shortages. He stressed that the government was taking all necessary measures to ensure both their well being and their access to goods.

AL-Thinni said that he would personally monitor the regular shipment of materials, medical supplies, food commodities and fuel in order to guarantee there was no shortage of services.
