Head of Libya’s Presidential Council Meets with Libyan MPs

The new head of Libya’s Presidential Council Mohammad Younes al-Mnifi met with a delegation of members of Libyan Parliament to discuss the necessary arrangements to grant confidence to the new government.

In a tweet, al-Mnifi said that he met in Tobruk with a delegation of members of the House of Representatives to discuss the parliamentary session that will be held in the coming days.

He added that they discussed the necessary arrangements to grant the new government confidence as soon as its formation is presented so that it can carry out the tasks entrusted to it.

Next Monday, a number of members of the Libyan Parliament will hold a preliminary session in Sabratha to prepare for a plenary session that will vote to approve the Presidential Council and the new national unity government.
