The US embassy in Libya, called on all parties to the conflict, to urgently abandon their issues, and focus their time and resources to protect the population from this deadly virus.

In a statement on Facebook, the embassy said it was crucial for economic institutions and technocrats to unite quickly, in a spirit of national cohesion, and to take all appropriate financial measures for a national response to this epidemic.

The embassy added that this global issue goes beyond politics and persons, calling on all those responsible for dealing with the epidemic, whether in terms of patient care, financial resources, or implementing policies to slow the spread of the disease.
