Chinese Ambassador in Burkina Faso says Covid-19 Aid to Libya on its Way

The Chinese Ambassador in Burkina Faso announced the arrival of equipment in Ethiopia to help a number of African countries in confronting the COVID-19 epidemic. He confirmed that Libya would be one of the recipient countries.

According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Government of National Accord (GNA) on Monday, this came during a meeting between the ambassador and the Chargé d’Affairs of the Libyan Embassy in Burkina Faso, Abdul Rahman Bukhamada.

The two discussed ways to accelerate the provision of medical supplies and technical capabilities to Libya to confront the virus. The Ambassador pointed out the Chinese experience in isolating provinces that have witnessed infections, and expressed his hope that the Libyan capabilities will be mobilized to confront this pandemic.
