Libya’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Al-Mangoush, said that the ministry’s foreign policy is based on restoring national sovereignty.

In a congratulatory message to the ministry’s employees, Al-Mangoush added: “the ministry also seeks to protect Libya’s interests abroad and to care and support its citizens residing in various countries across the world.”

She explained that the Eid holiday is not only a good opportunity for recreation and greetings, but it is “also an opportunity to strengthen the resolve and galvanize the enthusiasm to move forward in resuming the pursuit to elevate and develop the level of diplomatic work.”

The FM stated that, “the values of sacrifice, altruism, solidarity, and tolerance are embodied in Eid, which is what we need in these times that our country is going through.”
