NCDC: Libya’s First COVID-19 Patient Has Recovered

On Monday, the chairman of the Libyan National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Dr. Badr Al-Deen Al-Najjar, announced that Libya’s first Covid-19 patient has successfully recovered from the virus and has been discharged from the hospital.

He added that the patient has undergone multiple tests for the virus, all of which have come back negative.

The NCDC also announced that a new case was recorded in Libya. This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases in Libya to eighteen, including one death from complications caused by the virus.
