The chairman of the Turkish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), Mithat Sancar, said that Turkey’s military intervention in Libya was a misadventure and that his party rejected such actions.

Sancar stated that the government was stirring up chaos in the region by creating conflicts.

He claimed that his party promotes peaceful means that develop relations between countries, not hinders them.

The HDP head claimed the party opposed non-political methods being used by the Turkish government, such as the use of force and violence in Libya.

Sancar pointed out that the government’s actions towards Libya were not designed to allow for a peaceful political solution in the country.

He stated that as long as the AKP was in power, there would be no peace in the region.
