On Thursday, Spokesman for the Libyan National Army (LNA) Major General Ahmed Al-Mismari announced that more than 67 fighters aligned with the Government of the National Accord (GNA) had been killed during battles in the past week.
In a statement, Al-Mismari claimed that the LNA had made gains on all fronts in Tripoli.
The LNA Spokesman went on to say that more than 30 GNA militias and 37 Syrian fighters — including ‘Abu Al-King Jassim’, the commander of ‘Suleiman Shah Brigade’ — were killed over the past few days.
He added that more than 100 others were severely injured during the clashes and that the hospitals in Tripoli have become overcrowded with those in need of medical care.
Al-Mismari stated that the LNA would continue its offensive to capture Tripoli.
