On Tuesday, the Prime Minister of Libya’s Government of National Accord (GNA) Fayez Al-Sarraj held a meeting to discuss the return of Turkish companies and investments to Libya.
According to the media office of the Prime Minister, the meeting discussed infrastructure projects that were to be implemented by Turkish companies and were not completed due to the conflicts since 2011.
Among the most prominent projects that were discussed during the meeting were electricity and energy projects, in addition to new projects that are supposed to contribute to providing effective and fast services to Libyan citizens.
Al-Sarraj stressed the importance of resuming work on stalled projects to enhance the partnership process between the two countries, including the private sector in Libya.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Planning, Taher Al-Juhaimi, the Economic and Social Development Fund, the Central Bank of Libya, the Audit Bureau, the stock market and several officials.
