Libya has taken a significant step in improving its healthcare system by reopening Al-Ajailat General Hospital, which had been closed for over 16 years. The reopening was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Acting Minister of Health, Ramadan Abu Janah, under the Government of National Unity.

These upgrades include digital operating rooms, advanced imaging equipment, modern neonatal incubators, and sophisticated ventilators, all aligning the hospital with the latest international healthcare standards.
Al-Ajailat General Hospital is now ready to provide a broad range of medical services, including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, and gynecology. The hospital also offers specialized care for newborns, with a capacity of 60 beds.
The reopening ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Ayman Saif Al-Nasr, a member of the Health Committee in the House of Representatives, and Saad Eddin Abdul Wakeel, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Hospital Affairs. Local leaders, health officials, and community representatives from Al-Ajailat were also present, highlighting the importance of this event for the region.
