The High Committee of the Benghazi International Book Fair announced on Tuesday that it held a comprehensive meeting with Major General Khaled Al-Mahjoub, Director of the Moral Guidance Department of the General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA).

The meeting focused on finalising arrangements for the third edition of the book fair.

The objective of this meeting was to ensure coordination among all relevant parties to guarantee the success of this significant cultural event.

The organisers said they are committed to providing all necessary resources to host a fair that reflects the cultural stature of Benghazi.

The fair is scheduled to take place in November 2024, under the auspices of Benghazi Municipality.

The organisers aim to offer a rich cultural experience to the city’s residents and the wider region.

The event will feature a broad participation from publishing houses and cultural institutions. Additionally, various cultural and literary events will be held alongside the fair to enhance the overall experience.
