Malta’s Universal Air has announced the launch of a new flight service connecting Malta to Tripoli, Libya. This addition further expands the airline’s international route network and strengthens business ties between the two regions.

The new route, which will operate every Wednesday and Saturday, is aimed at business travellers commuting between the two Mediterranean cities. Fares for the service start from just €210 one-way.

Simon Cook, CEO of Universal Air, highlighted the significance of the new service, stating: “Our new Malta-Tripoli route isn’t just about bridging cities; it’s also about creating opportunities. We’re providing a crucial link for businesses that will help drive commercial growth.”

Cook added that the airline remains focused on expanding its routes to culturally rich and dynamic destinations. “We are committed to delivering comfort, convenience, choice, and quality service for our business and leisure passengers,” he said.

Universal Air is a leading airline dedicated to linking key destinations across the Mediterranean and North Africa. Known for offering exceptional, cost-effective travel, the airline combines the affordability of budget travel with the comforts of a traditional airline.
