The Libyan Football Federation (LFF) announced that Egypt has been selected to host both the Libya Cup Final and the Libyan Super Cup following an agreement reached between Al-Ahli Tripoli and Al-Ahli Benghazi.

According to an official statement, the hosting decision came after a draw held at the LFF headquarters in the presence of the Competitions Committee and representatives of both clubs. Al-Ahli Tripoli, coached by Egyptian manager Hossam El-Badry, had selected Tunisia as its preferred venue, while Al-Ahli Benghazi, led by Egyptian coach Tarek Mostafa, chose Egypt. The final draw settled on Egypt as the host nation for the two major fixtures.

The federation confirmed that both matches will be played without spectators. The exact dates and stadiums in Egypt will be announced at a later time.

The decision marks a significant step for Libyan football, which continues to host major domestic tournaments abroad due to security and logistical challenges. Both clubs are among Libya’s most prominent sides and their upcoming clash is expected to draw wide regional attention despite the absence of fans in the stadium.
