Berniq Airways has announced the cancellation of its scheduled Benghazi–Dubai–Benghazi flight for Monday, citing the closure of Dubai International Airport’s airspace due to ongoing regional security conditions.

In a brief statement, the Libyan carrier confirmed that the decision was taken as a precautionary measure following the suspension of air traffic to and from Dubai. The airline indicated that the disruption is directly linked to the current security situation affecting the airport’s operational environment.

The cancelled service was due to operate as part of Berniq Airways’ regular international schedule connecting eastern Libya with the United Arab Emirates. Passengers booked on the affected flight are expected to be contacted regarding rebooking options or further updates.

Airlines across the region have increasingly adjusted schedules in response to evolving airspace restrictions and security developments. Aviation authorities typically impose such measures to ensure the safety of passengers and crews during periods of heightened risk.

Berniq Airways did not immediately specify when normal operations on the Benghazi–Dubai route would resume, noting that the situation remains under review pending updates from relevant aviation authorities.
