Libya’s National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced that total fuel reserves across the country’s key oil ports have reached 209,465 metric tonnes, according to its latest daily update, underscoring ongoing efforts to maintain steady fuel supplies nationwide.
The data highlights continued import, discharge, and distribution activity across major coastal terminals, aimed at meeting domestic demand amid persistent pressure on Libya’s fuel network.
At the Port of Tripoli, fuel stocks stood at 29,868 tonnes, including 21,910 tonnes of gasoline, 5,976 tonnes of diesel, and 1,982 tonnes of gas. The port is currently handling active operations, with one gasoline tanker unloading, another awaiting discharge, and a gas tanker also in the process of offloading.
In Benghazi, total reserves reached 80,022 tonnes, comprising 59,016 tonnes of gasoline, 20,225 tonnes of diesel, and 781 tonnes of gas. A gasoline tanker has completed unloading, while a diesel tanker remains on standby.
Meanwhile, Misrata recorded 50,432 tonnes of fuel stocks, with gasoline accounting for 48,498 tonnes, diesel 926 tonnes, and gas 1,008 tonnes. A gasoline tanker has finished discharge operations, while preparations are underway to unload a diesel tanker, with another vessel waiting offshore.
At the Port of Zawiya, reserves stood at 27,074 tonnes, including 10,084 tonnes of gasoline, 16,664 tonnes of diesel, and 326 tonnes of gas. A diesel tanker is currently unloading, while a gasoline tanker is awaiting its turn.
In Tobruk, fuel stocks totalled 22,069 tonnes, comprising 20,676 tonnes of gasoline, 1,184 tonnes of diesel, and 209 tonnes of gas. A gasoline tanker is actively unloading, with a diesel tanker waiting nearby.
The NOC confirmed that these figures reflect the continued flow of supply operations across Libya’s ports, ensuring fuel availability in various regions. The steady movement of tankers and ongoing discharge processes remain critical to stabilising local markets and preventing shortages.
