The Ministry of Interior of Libya’s Interim Government announced on Wednesday that a curfew will be imposed from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. as a precautionary measure to avoid a Covid-19 outbreak (commonly known as Coronavirus).

Despite Libya not having any confirmed cases of the virus, the authorities have taken strict measures to prevent an outbreak from taking place within the country.

In its statement, the Ministry of Interior added that security patrols will be established to ensure citizens comply with these new measures.
