A spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency said that President Abdel-Fatah El-Sisi received Armenia’s Foreign Minister, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, in Cairo.

The meeting witnessed an exchange of visions and views on regional issues, including developments in Libya’s conflict.

They also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation mechanisms between the two countries. El-Sisi and Mnatsakanyan agreed on the importance of undermining foreign interference in the region in order to gain stability.

Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, and the Armenian Ambassador to Cairo, also attended the meeting.

Shoukry stated on Sunday that Ankara was pursuing expansionary policies that not only undermine the security and stability of Libya, but also the entire region.
