The Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, issued instructions to resume flights between oil fields and ports. These flights will transport oil company workers, to and from the facilities.

This was claimed by the Director of the Information Office for the Petroleum Facilities Guard, Ibrahim Al-Faidi. He said that the resumption of these flights, would only be for oil companies, and their employees.

Notably, the Chairman of the Libyan African Holding Company for Aviation in Benghazi, Ezz Al-Deen Al Mishnoun, announced the opening up of skies for domestic aviation between all Libyan airports.
In press statements, he confirmed that a meeting was held with the Interim Government’s Transportation Authority. This was in the presence of the holding company, and its subsidiaries to discuss lifting the flight ban.
