The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced on Saturday that 10 bodies of Syrian fighters arrived in Turkish-controlled areas of Syria, confirming that they have been killed in battles in Libya.

The Observatory also announced that the number of Syrian fighters who have been killed in Libya’s ongoing conflict has reached 139.

The SOHR said that the death toll comes from the following Syrian armed groups: al-Mu’tasim Division, Sultan Murad, Suqur Al-Shamal Brigade, Al-Hamzat, and Suleiman Shah.

In its statement, the SOHR added that Erdogan was forced to reduce the salaries it had allocated for Syrian mercenaries in Libya after the number of recruits exceeded the limit imposed by Turkey, which is 6000 fighters.
