On Saturday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Accord (GNA), Muhammed Al-Qiblawi, confirmed that they are still counting the Libyan citizens stranded abroad.
In a statement, Al-Qiblawi, said that the Libyan consulate in Istanbul counted nearly 2000 residents and housed 1700 others in hotels throughout the city.
He added that the Medical Mission in Istanbul, in collaboration with the Libyan organization of medical students and young doctors, is providing awareness courses to citizens in hotels.
The spokesman indicated that the Libyan Embassy in Tunisia had counted nearly 300 residents and housed 250 others.
He added that all Libyans in Egypt have returned home via the Salloum border crossing.
