Woman Raped After Being Kidnapped in Libyan Capital Tripoli

Investigators at Ain Zara police station arrested a gang of four people, including two brothers. They robbed the house of a Libyan citizen and raped his wife after kidnapping her.

The victim accompanied by his wife filed a complaint on 21 October against an armed group of 6 people.

The gang entered the victim’s house by the force of arms and stole a sum of 1,700 dinars, a television, and mobile phones.

The investigators searched and collected information, and the suspects were accordingly arrested.

During interrogation, they confessed to being guilty to the charges. Legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to the Public Prosecution’s jurisdiction.
