UNSMIL Condemns Brutal Attack against School Children in Libya

The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) strongly condemned the brutal attack against school children in the city of Al-Ajaylat.

The attack that took place on Wednesday led to the death of 16-year-old Musab Jumaa Dawah Bin Masoud, and injured two other children, all wearing their school uniforms.

The statement added that UNSMIL expressed its deepest condolences to the families of the victim and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured. It also called for an immediate and transparent investigation into this heinous attack, and to swiftly bring the perpetrators to justice.
