Syria’s Cham Wings Airlines Operates Direct Flights to Benghazi

The private Syrian airline Cham Wings Airlines said in a statement that that it is operating two direct flights per week to the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.

Cham Wings Airlines added that the flights will be operated every Sunday and Thursday, explaining that the travellers can get the entry visa by contacting the sales office of the airlines.

In November, the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority of the Government of National Accord (GNA) announced its approval for the return of flights from Damascus International Airport to Benina International Airport. The first flight departed on Sunday, 29 November.

The Airports Authority of the General Authority for Transportation stated that the first flights will take place via Syria’s Cham Wings Airline.

In March, Libya and Syria suspended all flights to limit the spread of COVID-19.
