Libyan-Turkish Foreign Ministers Discuss Latest Developments in Libya

On Tuesday, Libya’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najla Al-Mangoush met with her Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu in Turkey.

During a working breakfast, they reviewed common bilateral issues, which had been addressed in previous meetings, in order to implement the necessary solutions.

The two sides discussed the preparations for the second Berlin Conference to be held in the coming weeks, and ways to unify efforts towards implementing the political roadmap and achieving stability.

Cavusoglu reiterated his full support for Libya, and the Government of National Unity’s (GNU) efforts to achieve stability throughout the country.

The two FM’s also agreed to continue joint coordination before the conference. Cavusoglu confirmed that he will visit Libya next week, to complete consultations in a way that achieves the desired goals from Berlin II.
