The Libyan Consul General in Tunisia, Fadel Al-Qaryo, confirmed that Tunisian nationals stranded in Libya would be evacuated in the next 48 hours, with the aid of the Libyan Red Crescent.

Likewise, Al-Qaryo stated that measures were being taken in coordination with the Tunisian authorities to help Libyan nationals stranded in Tunisia due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Speaking to the Sabah Al-Nas program on Mosaique Radio, the Consul claimed that over 1,000 Libyans had been provided with accommodation, supplies and medicines in hostels around the cities of Tunis and Sousse.
