High Level Delegation From Libya Travels To Moscow

A high-level Libyan delegation held an extended and detailed meeting with Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East Mikhail Bogdanov.

The Libyan delegation, a part of the Interim Government, included the Vice Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a representative of the Libyan National Army (LNA).

During the meeting, the two sides discussed recent efforts by Russia in reaching an effective ceasefire in Libya.

They also addressed the enforcement of the Cairo Declaration and the outcomes of the Berlin Conference.

The meeting also tackled enhancing strategic partnership between the two countries in a number of fields.
