Libya’s National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) denied on Friday that three cases in the country had tested positive for COVID-19 (commonly known as ‘Coronavirus’).

In a statement, the NCDC said that it received a report a day earlier about three suspected Coronavirus cases in Misrata but, after examination, their tests were negative.

The NCDC publishes a daily bulletin of global and local developments surrounding COVID-19 as part of its efforts to raise awareness about the virus and the measures to combat it.
